			<description><![CDATA[ We now have access to the SCCA&#39;s  <span style="font-weight: bold;">&#39;81 GCR</span>  (General Competition Rules) and the &#39;<span style="font-weight: bold;">81 PCS</span> (Production Car Specifications) documents.  They are both LARGE pdf files, so downloads on anything less that broadband
might be painful.  And, unless you own stock in a paper company, printing the entire files isn&#39;t advisable.  But from the index of each you can probably

I may want to borrow that &#39;72 GCR if you don&#39;t mind. My brother just bought a &#39;72 Porsche 914 and is considering racing it.

It seems the RMVR will likely be going to the &#39;81 GCR with exceptions. Personally I will be staying with the &#39;72 spec but my brother

would like to know what his options might be under the &#39;81 spec. I suspect he will investigate the FIA spec as well.

on tire valve stems: stated to be 30 million tire valve stems in question - The valves in question were made in China by Tech International for the American
company, Dill. The NHTS Administration is investigating claims of the defect. The issue seems to be that they didn&#39;t put the UV protection in the valve

I can run a Ford 260 and stay in CP.  I have permission to run a 289 and bump up to BP.  I&#39;m not allowed to run a 302 at all.

If I build a 289, I can run a custom built crank, H-beam connecting rods, CNC machined heads (as long as they are old Ford), billet stud girdle, custom
pistons, etc.  The technology for these components did not exist in &#39;67.
